New Equipment at Work
I recently wrote a blog about my newest equipment, a drill press. The best way to explain how wonderful this equipment is for glass work is to show what it can do.
Since the drill press makes drilling holes a simple task rather than a labor-intensive one, I created a windchime that I had wanted to do, but didn't want all the work of drilling holes. So, here are the windchime pieces, two varieties of marbles fused onto clear glass, with two holes in each piece -- 24 holes drilled, instead of my usual six holes for a windchime! The hole placement is marked with black marker and now I get to test my new equipment to create a new skill.
Next week the completed windchime will be revealed!
