DarionGlass is the combined efforts of husband and wife team, Dan and Marion Seaman. What began as a hobby some 33 years ago with classes in lead and foil techniques, has expanded to include mosaics, and  fusing and slumping projects as well. Darion begin shifting from creating for our own amusement and gifts for family and friends, to appearing at craft shows in the area 4 years ago, and is constantly looking into new glass explorations: both places to show and projects to construct. They love the process of successfully executing commissions which render someone’s idea or vision into 2D or 3D objects in glass.

By day, Marion works as the Communications and Advertising Manager for DPSI, a computer software company. Dan is retired from a thirty year career with Guilford County Schools, teaching Drama and Speech at Dudley High School and Weaver Education Center. Additionally they both do freelance work with area Community Theatres. They have two children who have flown the nest to Virginia and Chapel Hill, and they are currently being raised by their 4th rescue dog, Riley.
