Suncatchers . . . Again

You’ve seen various suncatchers we have made this year.  Today, we are showing a whole new group of smaller suncatchers that are Art Deco inspired.  The truth is, I was looking through some glass storage containers and found some partially completed projects and some projects that needed repair – all using transparent glass.

I cleaned up the glass pieces and, not knowing the original intent of many of them, combined them into suncatchers.  The ones shown her combine flat glass, bubble glass, wavy glass and glue chip glass as well as beveled diamonds and some colored glass.

Some suncatchers are done in the traditional silver finish and some have a black patina.  No two are alike!

Come see these items and all of our items at our upcoming Open Studio event, Saturday, September 24 from 9am to 1 pm.   If you are in the Greensboro area and want to shop before the holidays, contact us if you need directions.

We enjoy making items that represent special times or special people.  If you want a special item, contact us by emailing here or contact us on Facebook.
