Do You Like Llamas?

Llamas are not really my thing.  At the Deck the Halls event at St. Andrew’s Church last December, a friend came over to my table and perused things.  She then commented that our Christmas tree ornaments were pretty, but we didn’t have any llamas and her granddaughter loved llamas.  Of course, my response was “I can make you one!”  So I made a prototype and then another sample.  I showed her both and she selected the llama that was perfect for her gift.  The llama ornament is on the right in the picture.

Then another friend visited me and saw the leftover ornament and said she wanted a llama for her soon-to-be-born niece.  She asked if I could make one for a frame that was there on the table beside the ornament.  Of course, my response was “I can make you one!”  So I made her a llama, with a pink blanket for the expected baby girl and put it in a floating frame, shown here on the left.

We enjoy making items that represent special times or special people.  If you have someone that you want to give a unique gift, or if you are interested in a llama, contact us by emailing here or contact us on Facebook.
