Christmas?

Hard to believe that Christmas is barely six months away – yes, only six months!

Although that seems long time off, it is close when creating and preparing DarionGlass objects to sell for the season.  Each year we create four special holiday ornaments and here are our ornaments for 2023.

This year the designs are all new.  This photo shows two of each item, so that you can see no two are exactly alike.  Our ornaments are a green wreath on a white background to show up well on a tree, a stocking that comes in varied colors and sports a textured top cuff with iridescent clear frit, a woodland mushroom whose cap is set at a jaunty angle, and a red, green and white heart that shares the traditional holiday colors but offers a sentiment that is appreciated year-round.

If you are out and about in Greensboro this weekend, consider stopping by the Corner Market (from 8 until noon across from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Saturday morning).  DarionGlass will be there and you can see our Christmas ornaments!
