What to Make?

Cutting glass to make specific items like soap dishes, spoon rests and cardinals leave lots of odd bits of glass in unpredictable sizes, colors and shapes.  Unlike the leftovers from some crafts and hobbies, you can’t just take pieces of the same color and put them back together to make a larger piece of solid glass that can be cut into a soap dish or bowl.  What I have is a collection of colored and clear glass, a very small portion of which is shown in the photo.

Looking at this collection of glass that I did not want to throw away, I tried to imagine what I could do with it.  Several ideas came to mind.  What creative ideas leap to mind for you?  

I have pursued a new trail and will show my progress next time, along with some other items that I have already created that used this product leftover from my process.
