Suncatchers
One of the first things that many people think of when stained glass is mentioned is suncatchers. For years stained glass artisans have created patterns and suncatchers that displayed creativity in art and subject with wonderful works of nature, landscapes, animals and people. Many people think of Tiffany lamps when describing stained glass that they admire.
On a smaller scale than Tiffany are suncatchers. These small stained glass creations can come in any number of sizes and shapes, as well as depict a variety of styles and topics. Shown here are some suncatchers that DarionGlass created a number of years ago and I just unearthed in a big clean. The one on the left shows a variety of colors and shapes, the one in the middle is a large square made of many small geometric shapes, and the one on the right has two blue bevels on the top and bottom, a clear bevel as the center and hangs on the diagonal.
