Stay on Top of Your Mail

Ahhhhh!  That’s the sound of me sighing at the end of the show last Saturday.  Thank you to everyone who came, especially since it was so HOT!!  It was great to get home and enjoy some air conditioning and now I am back at work creating more glass.

This week’s item is a letterbox for decoration and organization.  Here are two different designs – one that is realistic with green mountains in the back and a blue stream in the front, and one that is Art Deco-inspired in red, gold and clear.  Each one is made completely of glass and is large enough to accommodate a legal size envelope so you can keep all your important correspondence (or just the bills) easily available.

Next week, we will show the steps involved in creating the Art Deco box and talk about our upcoming Open Studio event that will allow those in the Greensboro area to come and shop before the holidays.  Stay tuned!
