Share the Love

DarionGlass sprang up as an idea many years ago. When Dan and I first started creating glass items, we did what we knew and what we had learned in classes. We had a few stained glass designs, but many books of patterns. There were just a few fused glass items that we had been introduced to and we kept making them.

One day, I know not which one, we decided to go rogue and try something different. One of Dan's explorations was into the world of mosaics. Of course, not the classical mosaics of the ancient world, but his own designs. He put this to use making this most meaningful momento when he created this treasure to honor the life of his best friend who died too young.

The design celebrates some of Richard's favorite things in life -- the names of family members adorn the neck of the guitar -- including things that Richard and Dan shared such as theatre, singing in their church choirs, the beach and more. This was a labor of love that now honors the lives of both friends who are together again, Richard and Dan.

If there is a particular item, color or design for an object that I springs to mind for you and you want to know if we can create it, get in touch and we will see what we can do. Contact us by emailing here or contact us on Facebook.
