Mosaics Let Sun Shine In

In these dreary days of winter, I often miss the sun.  With a mosaic glass piece in the window, all of the gentlest rays of sun can reach in to brighten the environment.

In this picture, the cross on the left belongs to my friend Bonnie, and was not made by DarionGlass.  Her daughter gave her this cross, which fell from its window hanger and broke.  Although we didn’t make it, Bonnie asked if we could fix it.  We did.

After we repaired the cross, we decided to make our own version. Bonnie recently asked for one of ‘our’ crosses to give to a relative.  The DarionGlass version is on the right.

In the window, focusing the sunlight, they both bring color and joy into my house.
