Creativity — Part 3

And the answer is . . .

As the revealing end to the story, what I created I call a flower pot plate.  I have several of the flimsy plastic rounds under my houseplants, but I think having an interesting plate under the pot is much more exciting.  After my first plate, on the left in the photo, I made several more and decided to put a design in the center, so when the pot is removed, the plate could be used in other ways and still make me smile. The edge of the plate is intentionally uneven to mimic the shape of a leaf under the pot.

Using this for a flower pot plate, is just one option.  Of course you might choose to use it for jewelry, holiday treats, collecting change on your desk, paper clips . . . the list is endless!

If you have an idea about where this project is going, contact us by emailing here or contact us on Facebook.  DarionGlass will be showing at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Deck the Halls event on Saturday, Dec 2, from 10 – 3.  We hope to see you there!
